Itinerary
Morning: Departure: Pick-up from Nairobi (hotel/airport) and begin the journey to Masai Mara (approx. 5–6 hours). Stopover: A brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos and breathtaking views of the escarpment. Arrive at your lodge/camp in time for lunch. Afternoon: Relax and settle into your accommodation surrounded by the serene savannah. Head out for your first game drive at 4 PM. Witness iconic wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and more during the golden hour. Evening: Return to your camp/lodge for a delicious dinner. Enjoy storytelling or a cultural dance performance by the Maasai people (optional, depending on the camp).
Early Morning: Wake up early for coffee/tea before heading out on a sunrise game drive. The cool morning air provides a perfect opportunity to spot predators on the hunt. Return for a hearty breakfast at your lodge. Mid-Morning to Afternoon: Depart for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. Explore the vast plains of the Mara, visiting hotspots such as the Mara River (notable for the wildebeest crossing during migration). Spot the Big Five and other wildlife like cheetahs, zebras, and antelopes while immersing yourself in the beautiful savannah landscape. Evening: Return to the camp/lodge.
