Itinerary
Morning: Pick-up from Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). Scenic drive to Lake Naivasha (approx. 2.5 hours). Stopover at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for breathtaking photos. Midday: Arrive at Lake Naivasha and check in at the lodge. Lunch at the lodge, with views of the lake. Afternoon: Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos and diverse bird species. Optional visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. Alternatively, visit Hell’s Gate National Park for a cycling safari or a guided hike through the gorges. Evening: Relax at the lodge and enjoy a lakeside sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in Naivasha. Meals Included: Lunch, Dinner
Morning: Early breakfast and departure to Masai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5-hour drive). Drive through the scenic Mai Mahiu escarpment and the vast savannas of Narok County. Midday: Arrive at the lodge/camp and check in. Enjoy a delicious lunch and some rest. Afternoon: Embark on your first evening game drive in Masai Mara. Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and possibly elusive leopards and cheetahs. Witness a breathtaking African sunset over the savanna. Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation. Morning: Sunrise game drive – the best time to see predators in action. Spot the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino) and other wildlife. Visit the Mara River, famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration. Chance to see hippos and crocodiles. Midday: Bush picnic lunch in the park. Afternoon: Continue with an extended game drive, exploring different parts of the reserve Evening : Return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner. Optional bonfire storytelling session with a Masai warrior. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Morning: Early morning breakfast and check-out. Visit the Masai village to learn about their culture, traditional dances, and lifestyle. Midday: Begin the journey back to Nairobi.
